Path To Presence

A space to slow down, make sense of your experience, and reconnect with what matters."We are all just walking each other home" Ram Dass

Integrative Couselling & Psychotherapy

There are times when life can feel overwhelming, uncertain, or quietly disconnected.I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and come back into relationship with yourself. My work is integrative and person-centred, grounded in evidence-based therapies and informed by somatic awareness, mindfulness, and creative or reflective practices. I am interested in both what is happening in the present, and the deeper patterns that shape how we feel, respond, and relate.Together, we move at a pace that feels safe and considered—allowing space for insight, regulation, and meaningful change to unfold over time.

Who I work with

I work with adults across a range of life experiences, including anxiety, depression, overwhelm, burnout, emotional regulation, life transitions, self-exploration, and the lasting impact of past experiences. At times, you might feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of where you are or what comes next—and you don’t have to navigate that alone.I welcome people at all stages of life, whether you are moving through something specific or simply wanting a space to pause, reflect, and come to know yourself more deeply.Together, we can gently explore what feels most important to you, at a pace that feels right. For some, this may include working with experiences that feel unfamiliar or hard to put into words, with care, grounding, and a focus on making sense of things in a way that feels supportive and meaningful.I also welcome children and adolescents into this work. When supporting younger clients, I begin with a parent consultation to ensure the process feels thoughtful, supportive, and well held for everyone involved.

How I work

My approach is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and deep respect for your unique way of understanding the world. Together, we gently explore what you’re moving through—whether it feels clear or uncertain, immediate or hard to put into words.I draw from a range of modalities, including mindfulness, somatic and expressive therapies, depth psychology, as well as ACT and parts work. This allows our work to remain flexible and responsive to you, rather than fixed or prescriptive. When experiences feel disorienting or difficult to make sense of, I offer support at a pace that feels manageable, with a focus on grounding and finding a sense of orientation along the way.My intention is to provide a steady, attuned space where you can feel supported, and where deeper understanding can unfold over time.If you’re unsure whether this approach feels right for you, you’re very welcome to reach out.

Therapist

Kelly Richardson

I am a Melbourne based counsellor and psychotherapist with a background in supporting people across a wide range of life experiences.Alongside my therapeutic work, I bring over a decade of experience in disability and community health-based roles, working closely with individuals with diverse emotional, physical, intellectual, and cognitive experiences, as well as their carers. In these settings, I also integrated therapeutic and expressive arts-based approaches, which continue to inform my practice today. My work has included supporting neurodiversity in school and clinical environments through play-based and relational approaches, fostering a deep respect for each person’s unique developmental, relational, and lived experience of the world. My practice is informed by depth psychology, alongside a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am a member of the Australian Counselling Association. I have also undertaken training in transpersonal art therapy, mindfulness, yoga, and breath-based practices, which further shape and enrich my work.Alongside my professional training, I bring a personal understanding of what it means to support others through challenging times, which continues to inform the way I listen and work with care.Outside of my practice, I am drawn to creative and reflective pursuits.
